THANK YOU and Farewell
After nearly 2 years of providing great music, laughter, and memories, we say a heart-felt goodbye to Jukeboxers Duelling Piano Bar.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us over our lifetime, from our regulars who came in nearly every week to the newcomers who stumbled upon our bar by chance and sang their hearts out. Your presence and enthusiasm for live music made our job all the more enjoyable. It’s why we do what we do.
We have had a wild ride, with the most quirky, insanely loveable, and indescribably wonderful team. We are so sorry that we won’t have more crazy weekends singing along with them, slinging drinks, cleaning up the horrors that our party left behind, talking about anything and everything, and being lunatics.
We also want to express our gratitude to our talented performers, who brought the house down with their electrifying performances and unbelievable talent night after night. Your dedication to your craft and your willingness in bearing your soul to entertain us all will be sorely missed on the neon-lit Jukeboxers stage. It was truly magical.
We have always been committed to offering a unique and entertaining experience to our patrons. From the outside looking in, we seemed to be thriving! Unfortunately, despite our amazing Saturdays and substantial efforts to prop up our weeknights, the high expenses of rent, utilities, business rates, and the running costs to provide the concept we love, live and breathe have made it impossible for us to continue as a venue.
In the meantime, be on the lookout for our lovely team of musicians who still plan on bringing their wonderful sounds and talents to Brum and beyond. And if you see any of our amazing staff working in another bar or restaurant in the city, please be sure to extend the same kindness and enthusiasm that they worked so hard to provide in their time with us at Jukeboxers.
We hope that someday, whether it’s us or someone else in the distant future, another piano bar will open in Birmingham and provide a fun, unique, inclusive, and engaging experience for everyone.
Until then, farewell and thank you for the music.
